Before working at Caribbean Legal Consultants, Sumayya was a litigation attorney at a reputable law firm in Port of Spain, Trinidad for four years, where she gained invaluable exposure to high-stakes civil and commercial litigation. Her experience includes advising and representing international and local corporate clients, including banks, credit unions, insurance companies, oil and gas corporations, manufacturing firms, and electricity providers.
With a meticulous approach to legal analysis, case strategy, and corporate advisory services, Sumayya is dedicated to delivering practical, results-driven legal solutions that protect and advances her clients’ interests. Brandon Ragoonanan

His expertise extends to claims recoveries, contract enforcement, and dispute resolution, ensuring that his clients benefit from effective legal representation in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Shannon Dass
Attorney-at-Law
Shannon is an Attorney-at-Law who brings a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and litigation support across civil, family, and public service matters. Having trained across a range of legal environments, she has developed practical experience in preparing divorce petitions, wills, deeds, statements of claim, pre-action protocol letters, and trial bundles, while consistently ensuring accuracy and precision in all legal documentation and procedures.
Shannon's professional development has been shaped by her work with private practice firms and the Public Service Appeal Board, where she has conducted legal research, drafted case summaries, and attended court hearings and client interviews. This exposure has given her a well-rounded understanding of both contentious and non-contentious matters, complemented by a meticulous approach to case preparation and a genuine commitment to promoting justice.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies and Hugh Wooding Law School, Shannon combines academic rigour with a proactive work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills. Khion De Las

Khion De Las is an Attorney-at-Law who specialises in Entertainment Law, Intellectual Property, Contracts, Civil Litigation, Probate and Corporate Law. Khion is a strong advocate attorney who has represented clients in civil, corporate and traffic matters throughout the years.

Khion holds a Master in Music degree and with a strong background in the Arts and Creative Industries, his passion for intellectual property protection has been a major focus in his legal career.
He has represented many artistes as they have navigated royalties and master rights splits, record label deals, music production contracts, live performance agreements, riders, music distribution and online streaming, PRO registration and more. He has also assisted individual inventors as well as corporations in attaining their necessary Trademarks and Industrial Design protections.
